APRIL 25, 2026 ON WAPATO LAKE - MANSON, WA

The Manson Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the Hooked on Manson Trout Fishing Derby on Wapato Lake! This derby is open to youth and adults with three age categories including up to 8 years old; 9-16 years old; and 17+. Each Angler will be competing to bring in their 3 largest fish by weight to place in their category.

SCHEDULE:

- Registration Opens: 5am at the Wapato Lake Boat Launch - 153 E Wapato Lake Rd. Manson, WA 98831

- Derby Fishing Starts: 6am

- Weight In: You will have until 12pm to bring in up to 3 fish for a cumulative weight in.

- Award Presentations: 1pm - You must be present to win

2025 PRIZES (2026 prizes will be posted April 15th)

Ages 0 - 8 Years Old:

1st: Half Day Guided fishing trip with Chelan Sunrise Charters

2nd: 4 day passes to Slidewaters

3rd: $100 gift certificate to Coastal, a fishing pole and tackle.

Ages 9 - 16 Years Old:

1st: Full Day Guided fishing trip with Chelan Sunrise Charters

2nd: Bucks One Man Alpine Pontoon Boat with oars & fins

3rd: $200 gift certificate to Kelly's Ace Hardware, a fishing pole and tackle

Ages 17 - Adult:

1st: Full Day Guided Fishing Trip with Veteran Fishing Ventures

2nd: Lawn mower from Rowe's Tractor

3rd: $400 gift certificate to Les Schwab

ACCOMMODATIONS:

Camping is available on the lake at Wapato Lake Campground and Kamei Campground. There are also many lodging opportunities close by. Visit our places to stay page for more information!
