Manson Youth Fairs Program Monthly Meeting

The Manson Grange Youth Fairs program will hold its monthly meeting on Monday – February 19th at 6:00 at the Manson Grange. A motion to conduct the February meeting on President’s Day, Monday, February 19th was made by Trent Lyman, seconded by Andrew Lyman. Motion carried.  

We will elect officers for the year at this meeting. Leading the Manson “Youth Fairs” program for 2023 were Chair - Emilia, Co-chair - Katelyn, Secretary - Kendal and Treasurer - Eli. At our February meeting will elect a Chair, Co-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. All four position offer great leadership training.  

Addison May Field and Hunter Lyman volunteered to give a demonstration at our February meeting.  

Several members are looking at showing a pig, goat, rabbit, duck, etc. In addition, all members are encouraged to exhibit art or photography, homegrown vegetables/fruit, canned goods, etc. Animals must be confirmed by the March meeting. We will ask each member to tell us about their projects.  

Potluck for March 18th Meeting: At February’s meeting we will look for a coordinator for our potluck in March and decide on a menu. In addition, the newly crowned Chelan County Fair queen will speak at the March meeting. No demonstrations in March.
